General Information
Gabriel Cottage has two bedrooms, each having an adjacent bathroom. The property has full gas central heating and other amenities. Whilst modern the property is built of reclaimed materials and local flint, blending with other properties in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The bricks (then 125 years old) were reclaimed from the demolition of an adjacent maltings and beams in each of the houses in the courtyard show testimony to that building.
Gabriel Cottage was cleverly designed so that it could be used a bungalow for 2 people with the additional bedroom and bathroom facilities for guests accommodated on the first floor.
Visitors comment on the high standard of cleanliness and fresh appearance of the property. Such are the standards that we have regulars returning year on year but do have a few weeks available for new visitors. To maintain the standards that our visitors have come to love the maximum number of visitors in a party is four adults and unfortunately we cannot accept children, pets or smokers.
Visitors are asked to bring and use slippers/house shoes to avoid pavement dirt deposits on carpeting.
Linen Mattresses, duvets and pillows have protective undercovers and bed linen is included in the rental cost of the cottage. The beds are made up prior to your arrival and fresh linen provided weekly.
Visitors usually prefer to bring their own towels but should you wish a bath towel and hand towel can be hired for £6 per person per week.
Entry and departure To allow adequate turnover time for cleaning and maintenance initial entry to the cottage is at 4.00 pm and departure by 10.00 am.
It is your holiday so we do not expect you to do a spring clean of the property but we would expect on your departure the pots, pans, cutlery and crockery should be left in good and clean condition.
Prior to your visit We endeavour to ensure that visitors are comfortable so if you have any questions or particular requirements please do not hesitate to call us.
